Meet Jacqui

Jacqui Ooi is a qualified career practitioner, specialising in career transitions and finding ‘best fit’ careers. Trained in career development and career counselling, she runs workshops, online courses and 1:1 sessions to help people confidently navigate their careers and create work lives they truly love.

A career changer herself, Jacqui started out as a journalist and editor at Australia’s top magazine publishers, before making the leap to the not-for-profit sector to use her media skills for good. In her 40s, she stepped away from office life to work for herself and built a successful business as a consultant and career practitioner.

Today, Jacqui is a Professional Member of the Career Development Association Australia and a Morrisby-certified practitioner. As the founder of What She Did Next and creator of the Career Change Kickstarter program, she is also a passionate speaker and writer on the topic of career change and the proven strategies to craft a fulfilling career.
